We’re so proud to announce that HubSpot’s newest HUG is centered right here in the home of high-performance living – Concord, North Carolina!
What the heck is Concord HUG?
A HUG, better known as a HubSpot User Group, is a meetup of dynamic and dedicated marketers who are seeking to learn and collaborate regarding inbound marketing, tools, tips, and tricks to help their companies thrive. Though we are HubSpot evangelists, you don’t have to be a HubSpot customer to join us, nor do you have to be a resident of Concord, NC – our HUG meetups are open to all!
So, this all sounds great, but what can you expect at a HUG meetup?
During our HUG meetup, you will be treated to a complimentary drink, snacks, networking, and powerful guest speakers who are specifically selected and targeted to answer your questions and provide solutions to your biggest industry challenges. To take it to the next level, we’re also going to create a Mastermind group, which will be a more in-depth, deep dive into marketing topics and offer more collaboration.
Why Concord HUG?
When we embarked upon the journey of establishing a Concord HUG, we had a very clear vision in mind. We wanted to provide an avenue for networking and a place where companies could come together to brainstorm and create innovating ideas. Most importantly, we wanted to highlight the vibrant community of businesses that exist in Concord and nearby areas and create a network of brilliant professionals that could help push each other to the next level of success in their business.
We also wanted to emphasize HubSpot’s user's ability to lead their own group and effectively drive the purpose of the group. For us, Concord HUG is nothing short of a dream come true. We hope to entertain, educate, and, most importantly, inspire businesses to take control of their marketing.
Who can I expect to meet at Concord HUG?
Concord HUG will be filled with vibrant businesses, marketers, and industry innovators that have useful experience and knowledge to help your business. Concord HUG is about more than networking; it will give you a platform to bounce new ideas off of, inspiration to propel you forward and, most importantly, will continuously work to educate you on topics of your own interest.
This is a user-focused group and one of our key focal points is providing users with the best possible experience.
How much does Concord HUG cost?
They say the best things in life are free, and this is absolutely true when it comes to Concord HUG – we’ll even provide your first drink and some snacks! Just bring your business card and your best smile.
Who are the organizers of Concord HUG?
Kimberly Hughes, Concord HUG Leader
Kim’s career in marketing began at 20 years old when she co-created a marketing and event planning company as a college intern, after a solo relocation from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. An idea of uniting the Charlotte Metro community through events and marketing would be her career path throughout the bulk of her 20s, until she learned of the inbound marketing methodology in 2012. Since, Kim has dedicated her professional career to soaking up and diving head first into all that is inbound.
To date, she’s been humbled to be named a Top 30 Under 30 recipient by Elevate Magazine, a 2011 Stand Out Charlottean nominee by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the 2011 BPW North Carolina Young Careerist of the Year, and Charlotte Young Careerist of the Year.
When Kim is not creating kick-ass marketing campaigns, she’s cheering on her favorite sports teams, catering to her 2 rescue dogs, spending time with friends and family, and planning her next adventure!
